Portable sewing machines without mounting bases will not work in this cabinet, like Kenmore 11206, 11306, 11506, 11606.

These are the known machines that will not work-- there may be more. The only guaranteed way to confirm that your machine will work in this cabinet is to measure it and verify that the machine can be mounted from the bottom.

The following are machines that will not fit into the universal insert:
Bernina 153 or 1080, Brother Pacesetter & ULT2003D, Pfaff Hobby 1042, Brother NX 200, 400 & CS8072 and Baby Lock Espire or Ellure. These are the known machines that will not fit into the universal insert-- there may be more. A machine-specific custom insert for flatbed sewing is available for purchase if the universal insert will not work for your machine.
